When they saw Vickie, their leader made a sign and two of the men disappeared into the shadows, probably to check if there was no surprise ambush, he motioned John to approach him and met him halfway. "I told you to come alone " Vickie smiled thinly and said," boys no need for shouts here....i came here to pray and i found him here; since he's an old friend i decided to stay and chat." The leader of the masked men shook his head and his eyes flashed in an instant... Vickie was never caught off guard, the moment he went for his gun she already had hers out and she shot him on the thigh forcing him to drop his gun while his men were taken down by the men who were with Vickie before. By the time the leader regained consciousness he was already tied up and he found to his consternation that he had been unmasked. "Well well well, if it isn't Solomon Mugabe, Nigeria's number one wanted dead or alive terrorist ....tell me what did you think or hope to achieve by setting up all this fiasco. The unmasked man smiled and shook his head ," the world is changing agents and along with it superhumans are coming out of the woodwork. Last week my men encountered a teenage boy who calls himself Phoenix and before my very eyes this Phoenix turned my men to ash." Vickie gasped as soon as she heared the name and the captured terrorist smiled again and he said I know you and Bright have been looking for him for almost five years now but now that we know there are "specials" out there, nothing can save you or your adopted brother... Oh isn't it incest to sleep with your sibling by the way....i guess since he's adopted it's okay but he's dead meat either way. John who had been silent since asked Vickie " this Phoenix, is he a threat to this country? " "Noo!!!" Solomn burst into laughter this time and said ,"there's nothing you two can do about the darkness that's coming. Bright and Teju have been investigating "specials" all over the country and this can threaten my plans so they have to die. In a few minutes my army will be here to free me. You won't wait too long in the afterlife i promise." Then Vickie smiled and shook her head, "no you won't" "oh but i will" laughed the terrorist. Vickie looked john in the eye and he nodded his assent, swift as lightning she fired only one shot at perfectly point blank range scattering the terrorist's brains all over the floor. She turned to John and said, "come on lets go get our boys". John smiled and followed her, when it came to the people they love, nothing is black or white only the knowledge that they would do whatever they would to keep them safe consequences be damned.
